Being a remedial massage therapist is a rewarding profession as it gives me the opportunity to help people. Another such benefit is seeing the surprise and satisfaction a client experiences following their massage – the feeling of freedom with increased range of motion and reduced tension.
I have worked with a variety of clients ranging from the young to elderly. More importantly, I have worked hand in hand with those who uphold a physically demanding lifestyle whether it is sport and fitness, or employees who spend 8 hours a day cramped up in their seat. This has given me the experience and knowledge to understand the cause of tightness and pains felt, but also the most effective ways to resolve and restore comfort.
Being a trained professional, my primary experience has been in Remedial Massage, Traditional Chinese Massage (Tui Na) and Swedish Massage. I can also incorporate various strategies for effective treatment including cupping, reflexology and tapping, ultimately enhancing the clients’ active life and restoring a sense of youthfulness to their body. Furthermore, I have the privilege of being involved in professional development programs, where I am learning and implementing new strategies for tackling challenging conditions.
I aim to provide the best resolutions to my clients’ situation and together progress forward to a stronger healthier well being.
